What's better than coffee? Decaffeinated coffee! It has all the benefits of the original, but none of the side effects. This means it has a similarly positive effect on health as regular coffee, but without agitating the nervous system or affecting our intestines. Consistent taste with fewer side effects thanks to an improved recipe - who can say no to that?
Decaffeinated coffee means enjoyment without regrets
The process of decaffeination only removes the caffeine from the coffee bean, but all the other good ingredients remain. Decaffeinated coffee is therefore aromatic, rich in vitamins and good for your health. Due to its many advantages, it is no longer just an emergency solution for more and more coffee lovers, but a conscious decision for more enjoyment and quality of life.
Rich in antioxidants: Decaffeinated coffee is packed with antioxidants that may reduce the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer.
Even more vitamins: Decaffeinated coffee is just as rich in vitamins as the original. This makes it an excellent source of magnesium, vitamin B2 and potassium, and just one cup can cover your daily requirement.
Better sleep: Without the stimulating effect of caffeine, this coffee can be drunk at any time of the day or night without disrupting your sleep rhythm. There are no problems falling asleep, sleeping through the night, or getting a deep sleep with the decaffeinated version.
Less heartburn: Because coffee is very acidic, it causes heartburn in many people – but not the decaffeinated version.
Improved well-being: Caffeine and stress are an inseparable duo, as it stimulates the production of the stress hormone adrenaline. Too much caffeine therefore often leads to nervousness, tremors or anxiety - a decaffeinated cup is therefore much more relaxing.
Lower risk of cardiovascular problems: Since caffeine can increase blood pressure, the decaf variant is a good alternative for people with high blood pressure or cardiovascular problems.
No risk of addiction: Although caffeine is not directly addictive, it can cause a habit that has a negative long-term effect on our performance, our brain and our sleep . So switch to decaffeinated coffee before your body starts craving more and more caffeine or you go through caffeine withdrawal.
No caffeine side effects: Decaffeinated coffee contains tiny amounts of caffeine (0.1%), but these are so small that they have hardly any effect on our bodies. The classic side effects associated with coffee (such as headaches, restlessness and heart palpitations) are therefore absent.
Larger target group: The prejudice that pensioners' coffee is for pensioners is long outdated. Today, pregnant women, nursing mothers, people with histamine intolerance , high blood pressure patients, evening coffee drinkers and many more are happy about the caffeine-free alternative.
For some, decaffeinated coffee is the perfect replacement for caffeine, for others it is just the perfect addition. Of course, it doesn't have to be all or nothing, but both drinks can be ideally combined. Instead of integrating caffeine into your everyday life, you can save it for special occasions. Switch to the decaffeinated version after lunchtime so that your sleep rhythm is not thrown off balance. Or switch to decaf during the week and only treat yourself to a strong coffee from your favorite barista at the weekend.
